SKI TOURING our speciality !

CHAMROUSSE, in the mountain chain of Belledonne, is ideally suited to enjoy and practice ski touring : 2 dedicated routes (a 3rd one soon to come) are marked to discover ski touring, one route being ideal for beginners. Ski touring and freeride fans will enjoy an ideal terrain for all with short ski corridors, slopes with various steepness, reachable summits.

In addition, you can find mountain professionals at the « Maison de la Montagne » to help you discover the domain.

We propose 2 categories of equipment to rent :

• INITIATION range : skis equipped with Diamir ski attachment , easy to strapp.
• SUPERIOR range : skis (Dynafit, Dynastar)) equipped with lighter insert attachment systems (Dynafit). available on line.

Climbing skins and blades are included in the ski rental.
Ski touring sticks, telescopic or not are provided.

In addition we propose :

• Numerous brands and models of ski touring shoes (Dynafit, Scott/Garmont) for a perfect fit with your feet.
• Security kits including Orthovox avalanche beacon, snow shovel and probe.

A dedicated avalanche beacon testing park is located on top of the station for a free practice.
